I needed a new night stand because mine was just a tabletop kind. I purchase a pine night stand with two drawers on craigslist but it was not tall enough so I had to add legs. It is the perfect height and size now.

The picture is a lot darker green than it is in person. Our bedroom is blue and chocolate with small accents of green and this fits in perfectly. |

Look at the pictures....two faces seem to appear. The top one sort of old fashioned with a handle bar mustache, and the bottom one more modern with a big silver smile. Unintended I am sure but a bit amusing too.

My kind of project! I took and old square coffee table, cut it down and made a bench with padded seat and floor length skirt.

How clever that makeover was. It looks like one I had many years ago, given to me by an elderly neighbor. She had a lot of the 1940s wooden green furniture and a green floor lamp and green table lamp.
