when my neice was in the service, the family sent stuff out most everyday. one thing I did was to write a letter then cut it up like a puzzle.
wrote a letter on adding machine paper that made a long long long letter. another letter was started in the center of the paper and written going around and around and around every one was so envious of her unique mail. once. each fAamily wrote a letter stopped in the middle and sent it to the next family member to continue. we also cut up photos of family as puzzles too. include some confettii in the envelope for fun. She was on a ship and recieved a letter written on toilet paper. the ship was rationing tp for 24 hours. but she felt she was prepared. Just a few suggestions for a cheery greeting |

I forgot, her birthday is August 6th. She will be in the field for a week or more (training?) soon and after that her weekend call is furneral duty so they do the whole 21 gun salute for lost soldiers... but she will have day mail Mon to Fri and it is a special event so thanks again for your cards. This is a hard month and they will be a light on cloudy days for her.

Kentucky is responding. My son is Air Force and I know he has appreciated mail from friends and new friends when he is deployed. Going out on Monday. I think she will be thrilled at the response from your efforts. No greater love than a love of a mom for her daughter!!!!

I think you have passed your requested number of cards but I expect more people will join us. Our military are so important and we need to let them know we appreciate their sacrifices.

I have the card ready to go tomorrow. I had a dear, old friend that would always send cards and include a five dollar bill. Even though she wasn't MY aunt, everyone called her Aunt Ruth. We could always count on $5.00 from Aunt Ruth. In honor of Aunt Ruth and a cherished memory, I included a $5.00 bill.
