Be glad too.
Ft. Jackson is only 90 miles from me.

My son was in for 12 years and does
the same job as a civilian now..

I am hoping she can at least get 19 cards.. I have one I am sending, the fire department here is sending her one (she raised almost $200 for them this summer) and the woman from the postal station here is sending her one.. so only 16 or more to go!

Please even a post card.. she is a great kid. I wish I could do more but I cant right now.

Sincerely,
One proud mom

I apologize that I did not get the b'day card off today but I wanted to find just the right card for such a special person that is unselfishly serving our country. It will go out tomorrow. Thank you Linda for the contribution of both your daughter and yourself. I hope you get well soon.

Card will go out tomorrow.

Will be happy to send her one from Pa. When my son was in the Navy, news from home meant so very much.

I will gladly make her a card, and send it to her. I can not but one as I have no money, but I will make her one tomorrow. God bless. Penny

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. I cant read all the posts yet as I am not up for that but my daughter received her first card from a member yesterday and she called and cried. She said YOU DIDNT and I said I did and look what you all did so thank you. I am over done on tired but here are all of you doing something you NEVER had to do and it makes a difference in one little soldiers life. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made her cry from joy and what a blessing you all are in my life. I cant thank you enough. I do not mean to ignore all the private mails I got I am just not very up to writing back but promise to shortly. I think the worst is past right now and that is a good good thing! Hugs to everyone
