beautiful photos!! I'm from Houston, Texas and we used to have a banana tree in our backyard. It gave small banana's but had those beautiful colorful leaves/blossoms. Love banana plants!! Our tree didn't die. I lived there about 10 years and it was still going strong.

Very interesting. My daughter has them in here yard but I was never there for the birth.
