Congratulations! When you are done in three years you want to come and help me with my little ones in the avatar picture? They will be about 8 then. LOL I understand the bitter sweet as I have several that have graduated. Enjoy these next three years.

She is a beautiful young lady. I hope she excels at whatever she tries in her life. You provided an excellent foundation.

Your daughter Jessica is beautiful! You must be so proud of her. And a new season is waiting for you to be discovered...

Cudos to both of you. Life is constantly changing our relationships with our children. We just have to learn to go with the flow.
Beautiful daughter!

Uncharted territory for us all...

What to do??

When my siblings and I left home, mom always felt better about where we were when she could actually "see" where that was. I was the same with my daughters.
Take your son and help him get settled in, just don't hang around too long on that first day, let him make his first college friends on his own.
We were always told that on parent's visit days you have to take your child out to eat (and new friends too). When we did this we seemed to learn so much more just watching them interact rather than just being grilled by us. They know you will be sad and that's just another part of life.
Good luck come August!

Just curious, how did she graduate from High School if she did not attend? How does it work with homeschooled people?
