Here are a few of my favorite blogs, I've been following them for years. I found some of the blogs I follow by word of mouth or they were mentioned in a blog I was already reading.

Could someone post some links to good quilting blogs for me.
Also, are quilting newsletters the same as blogs? One thing I will mention is that most free blogging platforms have ads built into them to generate revenue for the blogging platform (WordPress, Blogger, etc.) I have ad blocking widgets added to my browser so I don't see these. I think we are over-bombarded with advertisements in our lives.

how do you find blogs you want to follow?

I usually look at quilt images on Pinterest, and many of them have the website or blog to go to for more info, so I will check out those I find interesting.

I use a blog reader because not everyone who blogs does it on a regular basis, therefore, it saves me time by not having to open a blog that hasn't been updated since I last read that one. A blog reader only shows me the ones that have been updated with a new entry or entries.

I love Julie Cefalu's blog. It's called The Crafty Quilter.
