We have weeds blooming in Virginia after Thanksgiving. I wonder if they are related to roaches?

Those are so easy to grow. They always were popping up in my backyard. Glad now I don't have to worry about them growing anymore since I live in an apt.

When life gives you dandelions, make dandelion wine!

The last roses in my garden just got a touch of frost this week.

I wish fabric would do the same, at least in my closet

Our autumn has also been very mild--quite sunny and not nearly as wet and grey as usual. I have never had to mow the septic as late in the year as this year. But, being Canadian, we are all waiting for Mother Nature to make us pay the price for such a lovely season. DH serviced the snow blower yesterday and I brought out the winter boots.

There are only 9-1/2 more weeks until Groundhog Day. (Do Canadians celebrate that?) Not that I'm counting the weeks before winter will be over or anything.
