Just curious, how did you come up with your board name? Mine is my real name.

Quilting is the one thing I can do to get away for my pain. Quiltingforme is a way to remind myself that when I quilt I may give my quilts away but the quilting part is for me!

Mine is a nickname I've had since I discovered online chat rooms on CompuServ more than a thousand years ago.

Mine's my sons nickname for me.

A very dear friend called me this one day and it has stuck ever since-by everyone.

Mine came from my Yahoo email address. Apparently there were several Renees with my last name with Yahoo emails, and I became renee765. I kept it as my board name as it's easier to remember when I use the same name everywhere.

Cj is what my mom calls me, O is the beginning of my last name and momma Carrie is what my friends kids always called me, my kids call me momma. cjomomma was all I could think of and it was easy for me to remember. Btw cj stands for Carrie Jean.

My brother-in-law once called me plain jane-the family thought it was funny and the rest is history. :) I just thought it was because I married a Jones-can't get a more plain name....except maybe if I had married a Doe.

I guess because we didn't use any imagination in coming up with a clever name.

Mine is from my email name, too.

I taught at a school called Del Rey. At staff meetings we always had to sign in. I started signing in as Della Reya. When I needed a name for email, Dellareya was a natural choice. The name has just stuck with me all these years.

One of my other hobbies/interests is aerobatics, aka akro :) I met DH at an aerobatic contest and have been an IAC (International Aerobatic Club) regional judge for thirteen years.

Too lazy to think up something cute. Figured I wouldn't forget this one ;-)

I chose mine because I was T-Bone's mom. I have since lost him but I will always be T-Bone's mom. I do have 5 children an six grands plus other animals but T-Bone was special to me and I miss him so.

My name is Donna Marie. When I was around 5 years old a neighbor started calling me Donnaree. I'm 51 now; he's still about the only one who calls me that other than my husband... Was just easy to remember and no one else (except for my one friend on here who PM'd me that that was also her nickname) seems to use it....

Well since I am from south Louisiana I use Cajun and evidently there was once another board member with cajunquiter so I became #2.

My last name is Cornie which means I really am SO corney, aka "sew cornie". It's a name that requires a sense of humor, that's for sure.

I am called Gram by 6 beautiful grands so much, that I hardly recognize my own name anymore. SO Gramof6 suits me. Plain but me.

Actually, when it comes to plain names, I am definitely in the running. My first name is Mary, although I go by my middle name. (Thanks alot Mom and Dad - it was a problem every 'first day' of school explaining that). I married a Smith, so I have Mary Smith. My driver's license has my entire name on it but when I buy plane tickets they put it as Mary Smith because that's the first and last names on my ID. I've been on the 'no-fly' list because of my name. I told them at the airport that if I were a terrorist I would sure as heck come up with something more creative than Mary Smith!

My full name is Maria de los Angeles and my Grandmother shortened it by calling me Maride. She was the only person ever to call me that.
