I have read all of Chiaverini's books and they were great! Highly recommend! I am reading Cindy Woodsmall's books now and they are very good...about the Amish and includes quilting. Eleanor Fowler is another very good author.

I have read pretty much all of Jodi Picoult, Anita Shreve, Nicholas Sparks, and John Grisham's books. I highly recommend almost all titles by any of these authors! I also just read the Hunger Games trilogy after my son read them - a bit odd from first glance but a great series. If you like historical fiction, Phillipa Gregory is great,my favorite of hers is The Other Boleyn Girl. I'm currently reading a historical novel called The Traitor's Wife,can't recall the author, it was a free Amazon download for my Kindle. Another really good read is The Shack by William P Young, a very profound read,wanted to read it again as soon as I finished it. Happy Reading!

Oh my goodness! How could I have forgotten the Mitford Series! I also like the series by can't remember his name. I know you know what I am talking about...the veterinarian, I think one of them is "Everything Big and Small". Each title is from the prayer that ends with "and God made them all"
I have read those and listened to them twice, so you think I'd remember something!. (All Things Bright and Beautiful?) This is driviing me nuts.

You guys made me remember I had the Elm Creek Quilts Sampler book in my night stand - I just posted it for free on that donations section...I forget the name of it.

Treasureit...which book is first in the series (when the soul mends is one of them)? Why were they all published in 2008?

I'm reading Bill Bryson's new book "At Home." I read everything the man writes. Fascinating and always entertaining.

No one has mentioned James Patterson.. Tony Hillerman, who writes South West Suspense novels, Jonathan Kellerman, Alex Delaware series, Dick Francis, horse racing mysteries, John D. McDonald.. He uses the title of the book someplace in the story, very clever. Robert B.Parker, one of my favorite, Carl Hiaasen, Sue Grafton, alaphet series, and finally Dana Stabenow, about Alaska and the dog sled races there.. of course we can't forget Agatha Christie... So many great authors..
