maybe you could try searching for a lost and found site online for that area? I dont know if craigs list does it or not.........I sure hope you find it...........

This sure was painful for you. And knowing your mom was a quilter and understood what a handmade quilt means. But the memories you have of your sister and you making this quilt will be your forever and those can't be given to Goodwill. Hugs.

I know I would love to know what happened to the quilts I made my ex mil and grandmother in law. They were some of my first and while Grandma Viola loved hers I know my mil didn't appreciate it at all.
I hope your quilt shows up and I think putting a photo up on lost quilts is a wonderful idea.
