I'm sorry for your hurt feelings....experienced it myself. I've given project gifts that didn't even make it home, my lovely SIL threw it out on the freeway.

Sounds like my grandmother, she only had one child and that was the one that died at age 5. Too sad, that people don't realize how much they are loved and I bet your mom loves you just as much, she just can't get over the loss of your brother.
