I would almost say maybe she didn't understand the blood, sweat, tears, and thought and above all love that goes into a quilt. But if she is a quilter and that is where you and your sister got your start, I just don't know what to say.

I imagine her age could play a big part in her reasoning. If I lived in IL, and went to a Goodwill and found it, and then read something like this, You can rest assured I would return it to you and your sister.

I suppose you can know whoever has the quilt will definately enjoy and admire it.

O.K.Mom I would cherish a pot holder if someone made it for me let alone a quilt. Even a cup cake. People are so ungrateful. People have to much.

Sorry, But Roseanne Rosanna Danna was on Saturday Night Live, not Laugh In. She was one of the Original cast members with Jane Curtain, John Belushi, Etc.

Ouch! So sorry that happened to you. I am so glad that you and your sister have good memories of making it together! Big hugs to you!

sometimes mothers only feel accomplished by having a son. My mother had on child too, even thought my sister and I are still here. But that mindset is hers and really doesn't reflect you. It is hard.
I am sure that the person who bought the quilt thought it to be unique enough that it was special. they will love it as it should be. :)

There's no excuse for some one to be so cruel.
