well mine barely smells, very light but does the trick on my "mature" skin, it's the WalMart brand of Olay Regenerest called Equate Regenerating Daily Serum lighter than cream or lotion, I pay about $12 for the 1.7 oz bottle

No, not at all. I think you might be interested in trying something like a lotion from the dollar store. Something like lubicure and it has a pop up lid. Lubiderm cq might be good too. see if that does help. It's fragrance-free and doesn't leave a greasy feel to it.

For my face, ideally I like Clinque Dramatically Different lotion in a pump container. A bit pricey but goes a long way. For my hands and rest of my body I use Baby Magic...Mennan, I believe. Definitely a feagrance though. I will also use it on my face when in a hurry or excessively dry, but not my first choice for face.

I had a hard time finding the right lotion for my extra dry skin until I found
Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. It's fragrance free and not greasy. A little goes a long way. Works well in those harsh winters but I use it all year round. Walmart or Costco if you are a member. |
Cetaphil cleaning bar is great in the shower and their facial soap in a pump is too. still need more so I will check others mentioned here out. I do have the pink toner from Lancome that is so cool (literally).

Thank you for posting this. I too have dry skin and for some reason excessively dry this year. I have tried so many of the suggested cremes and lotions with not much success. I am going to try the baby creme in a tube. Please let us know if you find something that works. My nutritionist has suggested the coconut oil so will try that too yngldy.

Unfortunately, I don't use it everyday (I forget, get busy, etc.) Seems like when I use lotions, my face and hands are dry again a couple hours later. Got mine at Costco in the baking section. I use Aveeno baby wash to wash my face and Aveeno Baby lotion on my face every morning. And, like Jan, no one believes I am 72. I use the regular Aveeno lotion on my legs, feet & arms daily. Aveeno products always go on sale and I use coupons.
