Even love to see it in a clear glass candy dish. Who else shares my seasonal addiction?

As a side note, my Mom celebrated spring with tray after tray of the yellow Easter Peeps. Never could share her enthusiasm for the chicks.

I'm more of a take it or leave it kinda person. I have to be in the mood for it.
As for peeps, never have and never will like them. The thought of them make my teeth hurt.

ditto the peeps and teeth..............but once a year the candy corn calls to me

Did you know there is a recipe that makes it taste like Butterfingers? Melt 1# of candy corn; stir in 1 jar of Peter Pan Dry Roast peanut butter. form into a 8x8or 9x9' square. cool. Melt 1# of chcolate candy coating, Cut the filling into small squares or bars. Dip, cool , enjoy!!

I mix the candy corn with dry roasted peanuts. Delicious!!!!

dmyers 10-27-2011 04:38 AM

I have a LOVE HATE relationship with it. I love to eat them but HATE the tummy ache I get from eating to many!

sewmorethings 10-27-2011 05:01 AM

Guilty, love candy corn and peeps. I think i have sugar running through my veins too. Try so hard not to get any but when i see it in the store i know it is time to get a bag. Jelly beans are another of my weaknesses.....I am hopeless

piepatch 10-27-2011 05:11 AM

I loved it as a kid, and I still like it, but can only eat a little, as it is just too sweet for my taste now.

boomer47 10-27-2011 05:32 AM

There is no doubt the original is the best and of course it is a veggie - CORN!
Peeps are best if they are left out to get "stale".

rexie 10-27-2011 05:37 AM

Love it. Only eat it at Halloween.

countrycottage 10-27-2011 05:47 AM

Love it! Love the Indian type too.

Nanaquilts44 10-27-2011 06:20 AM

I'll eat it!

Caswews 10-27-2011 06:28 AM

I love them but in small doses .. too much sugar for me .. LOL

majormom 10-27-2011 06:29 AM

Candy corn is like popcorn to me - if it's around, I can't stop eating it! Yummmmm

Quilter Day-by-Day 10-27-2011 06:30 AM

I love candy corn, either one but I really like the indian corn with the chocolate.

Jersey Gal 10-27-2011 07:21 AM

Ugh! Too sweet for me, but my dad liked it.

tolepainter54 10-27-2011 07:57 AM

I love it! I don't buy it because I will sit and eat the whole bag!

svenskaflicka1 10-27-2011 08:22 AM

like it. and for you candy bar lovers, toss it in a bowl with dry roasted peanuts, and it tastes like salted nut rolls!

lucky for me, i don't like peanuts, so i am spared the "agony" of having to eat the mix. i leave that to the family..

BluegrassGurl 10-27-2011 08:25 AM

I like them only with peanuts (like a 'PayDay' bar). Can not take them by themselves.

Linda - K. 10-27-2011 08:33 AM

It has been my favorite for many years this time of year but the last few years I don't buy it as often as it is becoming too sweet tasting for me in my old age!!

MIJul 10-27-2011 08:34 AM

LOVE it- I mix it with salted peanuts in a candy jar, it's a perfect combination of sweet and salty.

Abby'smom 10-27-2011 08:37 AM

JeannieT 10-27-2011 08:38 AM

I only like it if it is super fresh, but don't LOVE it. I can have a few pieces and be happy.

nativetexan 10-27-2011 08:58 AM

oh heavens, it way toooo sweet for me now. i don't eat sugar or salt. haven't in years and years.

caspharm 10-27-2011 09:07 AM

Not big on candy corn, liked Peeps as a kid, but now, it's only chocolate, preferably dark. :)

Spuddy 10-27-2011 09:13 AM

I love candy corn also, I try not to even buy it, because it will be gone in no time at all. :hunf: :hunf:

owlvamp 10-27-2011 09:48 AM

Exactly the way I eat it....YUM!

Jerse 10-27-2011 10:18 AM

Really love it. Saw a cooking show just the other day on how to make it from scratch. It looked fairly easy and they claimed it was much better than commercial. Think I'll try it!

sunnymom 10-27-2011 10:29 AM

I love candy corn! Only the yellow orange and white for me also. Love to eat one color at a time, just like when I was a kid! :)

cherrio 10-27-2011 10:31 AM

Me, too! My all-time favorite candy, but don't need much of it to satisfy me for the season!
