My favorite over the counter candy is Milky Way Midnight. It's hard to find in my town which is a good thing or I'd eat too many.

I make fudge when the sweet bug hits DH.
Grands are too young for candy so I haven't bought any to keep in the house for over two years.

I would love to see the recipe.!!! Thanks for asking. Will wait for an answer.

Anything with no sodium - jelly beans, dark chocolate, gummy worms, Werther's Caramel, Black or red licorice = works for me. Edie

I am fond of most candies -
However, licorice and/or licorice flavored things are pretty safe from me - and so are Reese's Peanut Butter cups.

I don't eat anything while quilting, cause I tend to be messy. But I do like any kind of sweets.
1. Werther's Original
2. Mike and Ike's
3. Hershey's (anything)
4. Snicker's with Almonds
5. Riesen's
6. Twizzlers
7. Orange Slices
8. M & M's
9. Salted Nut Roll
10. Heath Bar
Sorry, I couldn't stop at five.

Cherry jelly beans - Dark chocolate covered cherries, strawberries, peanut butter snickers, peppermint puff balls. Cherry sugar coated pieces, like the orange slices, like those too. Butterfingers, almond joy, mounds.
We have Sees chocolate stores too. Not much on candy but once in a while I have to eat some.

I love candy from the late 50's early 60's, its what i call penny candy, sixlets, buttons, bazooka bubblegum, spaceships, string licorice, taffy, kit kat licorice,
but if your talking now, snickers, chocolate covered almonds, fannie may turtles, chocolate covered pineapples and peanut m & m's, and too many others, and I am diabetic and shouldn't eat any of it.

nativetexan 05-31-2015 02:22 PM

Oh don't take the Hershey's with almonds. Just send them onto me!

1. Not sure if you can find the nut goodie outside of Minnesota....it's my favorite and always on my Fleet Farm list when I head north....
2. Then it's Hershey's bars. Can't figure out why H.Kisses aren't as good as the bars.
3. Dove Chocolate or Hershey's Bliss
4. Peppermint is always refreshing
5. Weather's are good too

Oh I need some chocolate now

For those of you in Canada.........I went to the Bulk Barn for the first time last week. Thought I had won the Willy Wonka Golden ticket. I've never seen so many candies and chocolates and nuts.

and jubjubs.
Have burnt my mouth so many times with them
