A house isn't a home without at least 3 cats! |
I had a cat for years, but he died a year & a half ago, & now, we have 3 dogs. DH has allergies, so dogs seem to work out better for us, & I got tired of litterbox chores, then an old cat who didn't want to use one at times. So now, I am happy being a dog person & cleaning up alot less in house accidents. Also, getting more exercise, as we have no fence, so I mostly, walk all three of them, often... Still love cat stuff & pics though, & of course, other people's cats, that works for me... Got to have some kind of furr babies around, that's for sure!

Hi Brett
No, I am a dog lover - although I did see the cutest cat/kitten the other day. My fur baby would eat a cat up if I brought one home. LOL NormaBeth |
I do notice that is more cat fabric than dog -although I see plenty of dog avatars also.

Have always loved both cats and dogs, lost my boxer in October 14 yrs old, went without pets until May, Sandy is very sweet but Rowdy is very rowdy, have had fun watching them, so much energy.

I live alone and my Callie is my pal and resident critic. So far there hasn't been anything I've made that she has refused to lay on so I guess I'm doing okay :)

Love cats and dogs, cats the best, though. Hence my name. Gave that to myself when I was two years old! My mom always said that I was born that way (loving cats).

I have become the kind of person my mother would say, "Of course, they take their cat/dog everywhere, they don't have kids". She thought people like that were silly. My kids are all adults and out of the home. Hubby brought the dog in and my son left me the cats The dog follows me around the house and yard. One of the cats sleeps with me and can say Mom. The other cat seeks me out only when she is hungry or cold.

Some weeks back, someone posted a question about quilters and their hobbies, which turned out to be clearly weighted in the direction of "quiet hobbies"--reading, gardening, needlework. Maybe cats fit in there somewhere as well. It does tend to make a picture, doesn't it? Having said that, one of the best quilters I know is an avid downhill skier and keeps three big dogs. Kind of nice that we come in all shapes, sizes and areas of interest.

Outside cat-no cat hair and no litter box. He kills mice and starlings-both very good things.
Indoor poodle to keep me company... |

If they aren't they should be.

I used to be acquainted with a cat in Maryland that had a job! She was a greeter in an old people's home.
She spent time in the lobby greeting visitors, but also comforted the residents. It is just that kittens are fun and cats are comfortable to be around. They are affectionate mostly, and purr, and also comforting beings. Psychologists say that having a pet is great for its owners mental health. |

Ingrid sends her hearty thanks for the compliments! When we can't find her we know she is busy quilting...

Quilt for fun Grandma G
I would not want to live without a quilt or my 3 cats. I am moving to an apartmernt and it is hard to find one that will let you have more than 1 cat but I have. Some say why have 2 bedrooms?? Because I do a lot of quilting and like to sort out fabric. Thanks for listening. |
Not a cat lover here. Was scratched badly by 2 when I was around 3. I'm scared of cats. I'm a dog person.

My Avatar is my DGD, but I am a cat lover with two furbabies. They are litter mates, about 6 yo a male and a female. The female likes to be held like a baby. She would love if I walked around all day holding her. Her brother does not like to be held, but he sleeps with us. They are both sweeties.

There's 4 dogs here, no felines. Allergic to kitties.
