Christmas done!!
 

Just gloating today! I have finished Christmas gifts. Have 4 quilts ready. 2 little nap size and 1 large one and one for great granddaughter's big girl bed!!!! And I am almost finished with boughten gifts!!!Yeah, for me!

All finished my Christmas shopping as well. We don't really have a choice because we celebrate an early Christmas with our kids & grandkids on the Canadian Thanksgiving (Oct 7th this year) as we head for Arizona the end of October so we are not with our family for the real Christmas. Not quite the same doing it this way.

Can I send my Christmas lists to those of you who are done? I already have someone on the board making me 6 gifts for family.

I can send homemade fudge and candy.

<snarling> working on Christmas gifts !LOL See how ya are, making the rest of us wish we were all done LOL OH well, along with quilts I am sewing clothing for each granddaughter (then had a machine break down- bought a Pfaff Ambition 1.5 -It better not break down !LOL), so that is my getting things done. But it will be a joy for them for Christmas as I haven't made them any Christmas and school clothes in a while for sure and they will enjoy it ..

Can you come here and help me with mine?

Now, I'm really depressed (LOL). I just realized I would be away from home for most of November and December so I have to really get moving or give up on a couple ideas. I am firmly committed to two (big) projects so I'll endeavor to finish those. One is an advent calendar and the other is a lap quilt to be auctioned off to fund a holiday party for my husband's AIDS clinic staff. problem is, i can't quilt while away unless it's small and hand work only. Part of the time, I'll be crawling around Maya ruins in Honduras and Guatemala!!!

Way to go...if I looked in mirror right now I'd be totally green!

i dont think i like you...lol.... i havent even started well i have one quilt top done out of 4 for the grandkids the i spy quilt looked so easy when jenny doan did it.. but wow way too many small pieces...lol... i dont like quilting with 1 1/2 inch pieces and this has 4 in each square.. YIKES i better keep at it...lol.. or it will be christmas and i will still be complaining...lol...
