Christmas Tamales

2 Attachment(s)
Today was Tamale Monday, our youngest daughter and I made 10-12 dozen tamales, beef, pork, chicken and
Green chili-cheese. We had two pressure cookers and a Dutch oven cooking at one time. Here are a couple of photos...daughter mixing Masa and Tamales waiting their turn to be cooked. A fun day --- cookie baking on Friday

Yum! I love tamales. And fun to cook with family too.

I'm so impressed. We always have tamales on Christmas Eve, but we aren't as talented as you and we order ours. They are delicious and we look forward to them every year. Merry Christmas!

When I worked in Houston there were lots of families that made them for the holidays. Yummy!! Great tradition!

I am making tamales after Christmas. Six dozen to be exact. A dozen for each of our 4 neighbors and some for us. :)

Awww one of my greatest pleasures is cooking with my daughter as well. We're meeting up in Montreal for New Years at my son's house - can't wait!
