I have the Black & Decker and it's over a year old. Use it almost every night for dinner, however I've only played with the convection part of it, so can't offer any advice on that. This model had everything else we wanted so that's why we ended up with that option as well. Have fun! What brand is yours?

I got mine at william sonoma and use it daily. It works beautifully and has lasted years. the toaster/convection overn heats up much faster than my traditional oven. My traditional oven is horrible and takes up to 20 minutes to heat up.

I had one - Used it once.

I have a convection oven as well as a microwave/convection oven combination. I love them both and use convection all of the time. The microwave/convection is getting old and when it dies, I'll get another one. The convection setting on the microwave is perfect when I want to cook something fast (but not microwave) just for me. Once you get used to it, you will probably love it!!

Mine is an Oster. Several family members got them at the same time several years ago. So far none have had any problems.

I have one and really like it. You can cook about 25 degrees less than the temp called for and about the same time as stated. I think mine is an Oster toaster/convection oven.

My main kitchen oven is a convection oven. I was shopping for new kitchen appliances last week and most all of the ovens had the convection feature as standard. The newest oven out now is the pressure oven. When you want to use it you pull a lever that seals the oven.

I have a convection toaster oven and love it. It has different temps and cooks much more evenly.

Forgot to mention I have the Oster large one and can use a 9 by 13" casserole in it.

We have a couple more months on this one. That's when the warranty runs out. Every one we've had about a month after the warranty, they decide one of the functions won't function anymore. DH decided never again a pop-up toaster after a small roach just happened to be toasted with a piece of his toast. The first one lasted the longest. Now the only part that functions is the broiler and it's about to go.
