Franie, Poor you! Take good care of yourself and do lots of relaxing things: watching television, eating bon-bons, reading quilt magazines. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm so sorry. If you don't have a knee lever....I've seen a presser foot attached to the inside wall of a sewing cabinet to be used as a knee controller. Whatever works. And don't forget the joy of going through your books to plan your next few projects and reading the books you never have time for!!! Best of luck for a speedy recovery.
