It amazes me that someone would have no appreciation for such a beautiful piece. $3? Oh my. I am glad that it now has a home where it is appreciated. Congratulations.

That is a lovely cross stitch picture! I am sure who ever made it would be very happy that it is hanging in someone's house who truly appreciates the work that went into it. :)

How awesome.

WOW, it's gorgeous. It almost looks like a Thomas Kincaid picture, it's beautiful, and a fantastic price too.

Just beautiful.

So beautiful....and so sad. Someone put a lot of work and love into this, and then it ends up in a garage sale for $3.00. Glad you rescued it!

It is beautiful and looks like it was professionally framed. I am glad that you rescued it.
Having said that, we just moved our mother into a retirement home. She was returning gifts to family members and gave me two samplers that I had x-stitched for her many years ago, because there was no place to hang them in her new apartment. I also had no place to put them in my own home, plus would have had to ship them. So, what to do? Sometimes you just have to let things go, and pray that someone else will appreciate the creation, workmanship, and love that went into the item. |
