I have been lucky enough to go on 2 cruises to Alaska. Obviously the trip and experience of a lifetime. As much as I enjoy quilting, the very last thing I would want to do is to be inside quilting and possibly missing all the gorgeousness of the scenery and the many outside activities on deck. There are, however, some nice quilt shops in the ports of call.

you bring up a VERY good point...if you are stuck in a room sewing all day/night, how much of the scenic experience are you missing??

and I know that with the AK cruises, you have to take the scenery when you can get it, cuz the weather ruins a lot of those trips!

maybe we need to think about a cruise in open waters, with NO scenery to miss..hehehe
