another thought, thinner slices for the franks..........
also was thinking again about the sausages......after cooking in the boiling water, put all in casserole disk, pour sauce over it and bake it for short time to possibly give the sausages more firmness.

just a thought.....

I bet they had kids that were really picky eaters like my son was. He wanted to live on bacon, Frosted Flakes, chicken, spaghetti and a ton of milk. He HATED hotdogs so this wouldn't have worked for him. He did love McDonalds which I can't stand.

Maybe use thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta and cook with a gentle boil. Gonna try this with the grands.
