Cute lunch idea for the kids

My hubby sent this to me as a laugh but I think kids would really love it, and it would even taste good with the spaghetti sauce. It'd really make them like to eat at grandma's. It couldn't get much easier.

My first thought was "Sheldon" on "The Big Bang Theory" would love this, he talked Penny into making spaghetti with hot dogs in it. "A real I-talian treat!"

Now there's an idea I would have never thought of.

Me neither and my son loves both hotdogs and spaghetti, it never occurred to me to put them together while he was growing up.

I think it would be fun to see the looks on my grandkids faces when I serve this and they begin to wonder "how in the world did Grandma get that soft spaghett in the hot dog?" Priceless!!

Try this idea also: split hot dogs about half way down into 4 "legs". Cook a packet of noodles until done in water to which you have added green food coloring. Nest the octopi in the green grass and serve.

I tried this for my grandkids last year, and the spaghetti in the middle of the weiner never got done They ended up in the trash. Just make sure you cook them for some extra time!!!!!

I was wondering about that, also wondered if the weiners would all split with the boiling water you need for the pasta. Hopefully someone here makes this & posts a picture with the results.
