I don't know how this would work on terrycloth but I purchased a blanket stitch rotary cutter at JoAnn's just last week. It's made by Simplicity and works on your rotary cutting handle. Love it for making the holes for crocheting around fleece.

The only thing that comes to mind is a stilleto, I have a few bone ones but there are steel ones to- my husdand uses mine when he needs to mark holes for drilling etc,Letty x

I would just use the tip of the crochet hook. No cuts to ravel later.
