I'm sure it broke your heart not being able to stop the weather. Was that hail that did that? We had a hail storm in CO when I lived there, that shredded all the leaves off the trees and left everything else looking like the aftermath of your garden. I'd say since your garden gives you pleasure - replant!

Gardening tries the soul sometimes. Your garden picture looks like mine after the woodchuck broke in. He and his gang rampaged the over the tomatoes, chewed all the lettuce to stumps, are the beans to the ground, trashed the spinich and trampled my peas. They came and went at will, dug big holes right in the asparagus bed. I can laugh now but I sure cried then.

So sorry. A microburst went up our street a week ago and did just about the same thing. I thought I'd lost all the tomato and squash but, even though the tomato's were broken off, new growth is coming from them and hopefully will produce fruit.

So sorry, your garden was doing beautifully! I agree with many others the plants still have their root systems and that is a lot of the battle, they may well come back. Even if they don't I think planting again would get rid of the disappointment. Best of luck!

As a fellow gardener..I feel sssoooo sorry for you! I have two gardens going and if I could I would give you some of my plants.

I could just cry for you! A lot of time and hard work goes into a garden and yours was lovely!

That is so sad! Still not too late for some things to be replanted. If you do, hopefully no more bad storms!
