The only "club" I finished in my whole life was the 4-H knitting club when I was in the fifth grade.
I could sit down right now and rattle off the patterns of the projects I learned to knit on. I have been involved with rabbit 4-H, horse 4-H, and was a department supervisor in a county fair for Junior Home Ec. <wave> |
YES, I was a former 10 year 4-Her and all three children were in 4H and received 10 year pins. I still judge at county fairs and enjoy it alot. Sewing, horse, judging, presentations, chicken, rabbit and home environment projects we have dabbled in. I just wish my grandkids were closer so I could help them do projects in 4H.

I've already told that I was a 10-year 4-H'er. Today, I spent the day judging 4-H sewing and dress review in a neighboring county. I enjoy seeing the little girls with their first experience at sewing. I always tell them I have the apron I made in my first year. It doesn't fit, but I have held onto it for over 60 years.
