The thing with all these commercials is that some ad agency person somewhere created these things in the first place and then had to run them past a corporate committee to get approval. It is hard to conceive that much of what makes it to the screen is what they consider to be the best they have to offer. I can't believe first that someone would come up with some of the stupid/insulting/distasteful approaches to selling a product but then someone above them actually approves it. Must be the same people that pull the genuinely good TV programs and leave the rest of the trash on for years. Ann in TN

I don't like the wal-mart Halloween where one child is honest and another child comes up and after being informed says something along the lines of "I can't read." What message is that to a child?

My all time hated commercial was a few years back when Quizno's had that awful rat-looking thing with the big ugly teeth saying Quizno subs. Haven't ate there since.

I don't have DVR, but sure wish I did. I hated those Quizno's commercials too. My family called them the "road kill rats". I'll never (and I do mean NEVER) eat at Quizno's because of those commercials. They were just too stupid!

In fact, there are a number of products I will never spend my money on because their advertisements are so absolutely ridiculous. I get inundated with enough stupidity in my everyday life and I don't need the products being advertised in those insulting or untasteful commercials. Those companies should have more respect for their products and for their customers.

Makes you wonder...is stupid a requirement for advertising copy employees?

Amen to that sister

It's too bad some of those advertising companies don't have family members who quilt and would be on this board. They might learn a few things about what women want

I HATE THIS AD!!! What a hurtful thing to say to her husband. It makes me so mad everytime I see it.

I also hate all the medicine ads. We are bombarded with them. I love watching the news but we have started recording the news so we can skip through the medicine ads.
