Whatever they are called, I do believe in them. I also believe there is life after life. When my sister died of cancer, we spent 24/7 with her. She was moved to a room at the hospital that did not get any sun light. She told me she sure wished she could see the sun shine again. The day she died, at the moment she stopped breathing, the sun came shining through that window. Both my older sister and I saw it. We studied that window to try to figure out how that sun came through and why at that moment. Still have not figured it out. I have also heard from her and others since they have died. It is usually in the form of a dream, but I feel their touch and hear their words. I do not care if it is real or not. It sure makes my life easier to know they are there.

Yes, I believe in ghosts and angels. I have had "visits" from my Mom and my son on several occasions (my angel ghosts). And I bought the house I live in now in 2004....from the daughter of the owner. He was in a nursing home. When anyone would take him out for a ride he would drive by the house to see what I was doing to it. I didnt change much for fear of hurting his feelings. right after he passed away I would hear someone talking and then smell cigarette smoke. It took a while but I figured out it was him. He makes him self know regularly. I have told him time and time again that he can visit anytime but cant smoke in the house... LOL he just doesnt listen. It freaks out some people but I am used to it now. (It is just me and my dogs so there isnt anyone sneaking a cig somewhere and it is even in the winter when all the windows are closed.) I cant make out what he is saying but there have been several times when I think it must be his wife with him becasue I can hear a conversation between a man and woman. My kids think I am "nuts" hehehe.. but my grandaughter heard and smelled the cig one night too!!
When my husband passed away his daughter was pregnant and we were in the process of looking for a new home and selling the old one to her. I followed through on that. She really wanted her Dad's house. The baby's room is the room my husband was in when he was sick. My daughter would hear her talking and go in and ask her who she was talking to and she would say: "Papa... he came to play with me, see..." and she would point to "him". She certainly wanst making it up... she was too young to.

I do, very much so but ghost is such a generic term. I believe it is a spirit if you will from a person who has business to finish or feels their presence can offer comfort to those they leave behind.

In my case I had a visit from my grandpa Hawk when he passed. My mom says I was dreaming but to this day I tell you I was as awake then as I am this moment. He came to me to let me know it is okay, he was okay. That he loved us that it was okay that he was gone because he no longer was in pain or suffering. Next day during the funeral my cousin and I who were both close to this grandpa were in good spirits. Our parents were not happy that we were laughing and smiling during the service, we were being disrespectful and not honoring our grandfathers memory. We were because I wasn't the only one he spoke to that night to say it was okay, he is okay.
I'm of the opinion just because I can't explain it or touch it or take a picture of it, it doesn't mean it isn't there. Same with UFO's, big foot and Loch Ness. Just because there isn't defenitive proof and I haven't seen it doesn't mean they don't exist. New speices are being found every year that people thought were dead or didn't know exsist.

But i'm all for everyone having their own beliefs. Oh and I believe that the husband of the former owner of our house is still here and makes his presence known from time to time. More when we first moved here, but now still from time to time.

Yes I do. When my daughter passed away for the first couple of years I felt her all the time. When I was feeling really sad she would cause certain songs to come on the radio that would cheer me up. One day when I was driving to Costco I said outloud "Katie I am so lonely" immediately Faith Hill's song "You can't lose me" came on the radio. That was our song.

yes and angels, too. i have had many experiences. my neighbor was more psychic than me and she and i had many experiences that went together. i live in a very historical area and i have had the experience of hearing people singing while they were walking to church in the old days. i got a small doll at a festival that was old and when i brought it home, often i would smell apple pie right under my nose when i would sit down or something with cinnamon. i think it was connected to an old woman who loved to cook and she was offering me some of what she had made. i have a mother in law who did not believe at all and this spirit would go with me to her house. she came to believe, when we moved our son to go to college, we went by a sign advertising a very old house for sale. i wanted to see that house so badly that my husband finally agreed he would go by there after the last load. when we went by there, i felt i had come home. the house was built in the 1700's and this family that built it had strong influence over the community. there was also a tavern close by and another old house that was built by the father of the original owner of this house. i came to have visions of that time long ago. i felt i had lived in that house all those years ago. to this day, i still feel a deep connection to that house. on a side note, my husband did not like the house. it was like he was afraid of it, he made the comment that he felt if he lived in it, he would die there. my neighbor who was psychic felt he had died there in a previous life and that was why he didn't feel comfortable in it.

Absolutely. My older brother passed in May 2009. At Christmas that year - we all went to Florida because no one wanted to celebrate with out him. He was there - I'm sure - because he pushed the christmas tree over.

The following year - I was sitting in my living room during our Christmas get together. For no reason - one ornament came flying off the tree and rolled into the middle of the room. It was my Detroit RedWings ornament - that my brother gave me as a gift.

No one can tell me there aren't ghosts. And - I am happy about it.
