My natural hair color is dk brown with auburn highlights. Well @ 56 yrs young, it is almost all gray with white highlights. It does have a few brown lowlights. My DH loves it. My hairdresser does also and says he would not color it if I asked. LOL For years & yrs I wore it frosted pretty heavy. Now my mileage through life has done that for me. LOL
I don't wear nail polish except for special occasions because the tips of mine are so white, I don't want to stain them with polish. They are very strong & hard and grow fast. Makeup: I wear mascara, a tinted lipgloss & just enough foundation to smooth out my complexion. I like a natural look. If I go out in the evening, I do wear heavier makeup and dawn lots of bling & glam. LOL |

I've also stopped wearing colored nail polish unless I'm going to a wedding or someplace fancy. I used to put 3 coats on every 3 nights. This while I had kids in the house. How did I find the time? I also wore padded bras that I padded more! Sad really....but it was either that or be called Mister. Now I'm glad that there's nothing to sag and bag...lol. Those are my old grooming secrets. I guess I don't have any now. What grooming secret are you keeping from everybody? BUT the most annoying bit is that my hair ,apart from the front where gray/whitish has gone DARKER -----awful, was quite fair not blonde but now ghastly dark brown ,so do occ have highlights-----------has anyone else gone darker? |
