Star Trek was on after Bewitched every aft. here after school. That was when I became a Trekkie! LOL I love them all.

Little House on the Prairie was on after shool, I loved that show! Ran home from school to watch it!

Ok, I am to young to have seen the first airing of them, but Dragnet, the Mary Tyler Moore show, Dick Van Dyke and Get Smart are all shows My father and I would watch during while helping my studying my spelling tests. Sometimes I will see an old rerun and I automatically think of the word and the spelling. :lol: I actually saw a past Episode of Dragnet the other day and caught myself spelling beautiful in my head. :-D

I listen to tv while I sew and alot of times that particular hot pad or bookmark will have stong associatons to what I was watching when I made it. LOL I can see one of them and I will have a flashback to what I was watching! LOL Funny how our brain wires us to think this way!

I used to rush home from school to watch Dark Shadows. That had to be the most low budget, worst show of all times but I loved it. I remember when the one actress's skirt actually caught on fire and "behind the scenes" people came scurrying out to put it out, seeing the wrinkles in the tarp that was supposed be the ground in the cemetery. The on fire woman didn't get hurt, she went on to be one of Charlie's Angels--the original. I don't remember her name but she was the one with straight dark hair.

I completly forgot about Dark Shadows. My DM lived for that show. She has the complete DVD set.

Look closely at the sets and scenery. Can you see the seams and wrinkles in the canvas tarp used for the cemetery? They just sprinkled some leave on it. When the girl's dress caught on fire she was standing in the doorway talking to either Barnabas or the wolf guy, wasn't his name Quinton? (he was the one I liked---those eyes made my young heart swoon)

Raptureready I remember the seams and all the shadows. I also remember seeing the camera and the microphones hanging in the scenes. Bad acting but I loved watching it with mom.

I remember that show too. I didn't realize one of the Angels was in it. I remember Barnabus and Quinton but not much else. I was about 12 I think.
I had to go look it up! Kate Jackson played Daphne Harridge in 70-71. I havent' gone back and watched any of it so I didn't realize she was in it.

Okay, here's a memory from the oldie! Dick Clark, American Bandstand. On 15 minutes after highschool let out. The "cool" kids stayed after school in the lounge so we could dance and watch. I can still hear the intro in my head, and see all of us trying the new steps. What a ball! PS... I'm talking when Bandstand was brand new to TV!!
