When I watch Bewitched I feel and remember that 16yr old(me) laying on the couch eating tuna salad and saltines watching Bewitched after school every day!
Does it to me every time! I am transported back in time if only in my mind! LOL I can almost taste the tuna when I hear the song start! LOL

Anybody else have any similar experiences??

If anyone mentions Red Skelton I remember going to bed on time and laying there trying to stay awake for The Red Skelton show to come on. About 5 minutes into it I would creep into the living room and say, "Daddy, Mr. Skelton is my favorite and I can't sleep with him on. If I'm really still can I sit on your lap and watch him?" Never missed a show. LOL

Both Bonanza and The Flintstones take me back. Watching those shows with all my sisters and brothers (10 of 'em) and eating a BIG bowl of buttered popcorn!

Does the same happen with songs? Every time I hear The Monster Mash I remember being about 10 when a friend and I would take turns standing on a chair with a hair brush as our microphone singing the song. It was a favorite than and I still remember that time.

A lot of the old shows bring back memories of a slower less compilcated time, although I was a grown up and had kids at home then. Some of the 70s and 80s music does that also.

Star Trek - the original with William Shatner. It always played at 7 pm in Germany on Saturday evening which was church-going time. I made a deal with my mother that I would go to high mass on Sunday if she would let me stay and watch "my show." I hated those Sunday mornings but really liked the alone time on Saturday.
