I don't have one but my folks do. His name is Shakers and he is almost as old as my oldest son who is 15. This is him on his favorite pillow.
Edited to say I love the cat fabric.

ToucanSam 09-08-2010 02:52 PM

We did when I was growing up. We all adored that cat, but my Dad worshipped her! He was very torn up when she died at the age of 19.

So I got him another Tuxedo cat...and this one is bad! :)

Kas 09-08-2010 03:02 PM

Bottom left kitty on the panel looks like my Trouble did. She earned the name by eating my tuxedo finch when she was just 9 weeks old! I was so mad at her and worried about her guts getting perforated by the bones. URGH.

Baysidegal 09-08-2010 04:51 PM

Love the fabric...but my Lizzie is NOT a Tuxedo Thank You!!!

(she made me write that LOL)

wolfkitty 09-08-2010 05:11 PM

My cat is an orange tiger bobtail, but I LOVE the fabric. I have other cat fabric and would buy this if it was available.

OH WOW! Yes, we have 2!!! LOVE them -- their personalities are the best! They're Donner and Dasher. They were in a litter of 8 that were in the Humane Society near Christmas 4 yrs ago. The HS named all of them for the 8 tiny reindeer...we have Donner and Dasher! I'll be getting that fabric!

jayelee 09-08-2010 05:25 PM

Wow that first kitty on the fabric looks like my Charles, he was a rescue people were really mean to him He spent the first year we had him under the couch and avoiding us he still only lets me touch him

Blue Bell 09-08-2010 05:37 PM

I did not know that my Toby was a tuxedo cat but I know now. I think I might have to have some of that fabric. Thanks for the heads up.

BRenea 09-08-2010 06:55 PM

We had a tuxedo cat named Tom Tom that passed in 2008...he made my husband a cat person and I miss him a lot...maybe I'll have to get some of that fabric!

Baysidegal 09-08-2010 07:21 PM

I doubt they are Norwegian forest cats. the Daddy is a big black and white and lives up the street. Rosie was thought to be a boy when we first got her because she was so muscular. named her Buddy but found she was a girl and changed it to Buddie Rose. She is an easily frightened cat!

Sissie, her sister,is small. 8 pounds with one small kidney.

ckp11271 09-10-2010 05:58 AM

Looks like our Fluffy! She's only 5, so we should have her around for a good long while yet.

lacikat 09-10-2010 06:04 AM

My Sami is a beautiful tuxedo. Someone threw him out a car window when he wasn't even big enough to be away from his mother. A lady stopped and picked him up and couldn't keep him so my daughter brought him to me. Every now and then he seems to have a flashback to that and slaps and bites but
that hasn't happened for quite a while.

reginalovesfabric 09-10-2010 06:51 AM

no I have a diluted calico named Gingersnap

lucy39 09-10-2010 06:52 AM

I have tuxedo cat named Bitsy. Got her after my husband passed away 2 yrs. ago. She was 9 years old then(now 11) and was a humane society cat. Very lovable and a lap cat at only 6 pounds. What a blessing she has been to me.

grannypat7925 09-10-2010 07:22 AM

Yep, I have a tuxedo named Targ'et. She is 11 yrs. old and rules the house! Very smart and talkative!

Dianne10 09-10-2010 07:38 AM

fmd36 09-10-2010 09:59 AM

I have been a vendor at cat shows for years and the tuxedo is the hardest design (emb) to find. They are usually really lofely cats.

Yes, she is 7 years old and
her name is Gussi.

Pzazz 09-10-2010 11:33 AM

We have had two...Bessie, lived to be about 15. Sylvester, who is 2, and we aren't sure where he is right now. I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks...DH saw him 4 or 5 days ago, but not since. Since we live in the country, we do lose some cats to predators. :(

quilt3311 09-10-2010 01:02 PM

I have two tuxedo's. One very large and long hair, the other small, delicate and short hair. They really are the sweetest cats. Both love to "lap sit" when DH sits down to watch TV, one or the other or both are in his lap. Luckily he likes kitties.

Had one named Mr. Kitty. He was beautiful!

Stitchnripper 09-10-2010 05:17 PM

We did have one for many years until he went to kitty heaven. We rescued him from a neighbor who ignored him. He was never grateful but we loved him anyway. We named him Hydrox after the cookies, vs. Oreo (does anyone remember Hydrox cookies?)
