yes, I was walking before my doggie passed, then realized i had the walking attached to her in my mind. I didn't walk for a while.
Just got back into it. Among reasons to walk, one that helps motivate me is a decrease in the risk of osteoporosis. It makes your bones stronger. We know it makes our muscles and our heart and lungs stronger, and if we watch our portions, of course we will lose weight, plus the vitamin D and mentally, the endorphins are good for you too. yes, I believe in walking. :D |
Yes, I walk at least 30 minutes a day. It's the only form of exercise that interests me. My mother walked everyday for years to help keep her blood pressure down.

I walk at least 2 miles every day. Makes me feel better!

I try! lol School is kind of hectic though!

Yup, about 2-3 miles. I drag my secretary out the door after classes. I can't walk around my home without fear of being run down! I live on a "short-cut" to the Mall road. People are in a hurry to get to the Mall!

I don't walk outside, but I do 45 minutes on the treadmil 5 or 6 days a week.
Some days I don't walk as fast as others, but I go everyday. =) |
I walk my cat. does that count? although she won't go 1 1/2 miles!!!
|
Thanks for the push...I REALLY need to start walking!!! Okay - tomorrow morning.............

I either walk or ride my bike everyday. I love being out in the fresh air. I go 6-7 miles now but pushing for more. I hate the thought of winter coming and staying inside. No malls around here.
