Guilty as charged! I have started several docs, such as Bags & Purses, baby quilts, log cabin quilts, because my general one was getting too unwieldy. God bless you in your treatments!

Balala 05-13-2011 12:02 PM

Sending prayers of quick recovery your way.

Robin -- What a road ahead of you! Bless you as you face each new day. I love colors and fabrics too -- it is an addiction that I think all of us here share -- just read a couple of comments how women have organized their fabrics and love to look at them, but now are reluctant to cut them!!

ann clare 05-13-2011 12:30 PM

What a clever idea. Why did I not think of that. I go to the Picture Section and the top post is gallery of quilts. I visit it every day and love it. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Yes, I do this too! Sometimes it surprises me when I see something pop up. I have so many pics I forget what I've seen before! I'm glad you have something to lift you up during this difficult time. Beauty helps in the healing process.

klgreene 05-13-2011 01:54 PM

Oh yes, my folder is so full, I have a hard time finding something when I know what I'm looking for. I don't put them on the screen saver, but that's a good idea. Good luck with you chemo and hope you are still able to sew.

I've never done a slideshow (anybody care to PM me and tell me how????) but I love keeping pictures and looking through them for a new project...or just to enjoy them.

angelarose 05-13-2011 03:20 PM

Oh, Sweetie. The chemo and radiation are helping you. I'm told it can be tough going, but so many have been down that road and continue on to have a good life.
Keep your strength, warrior, and know you're on my prayer list.

roseOfsharon 05-13-2011 03:20 PM

Yes, I save many pictures from quilters here as well. I enjoy looking at them and hoping to get inspiration from them as well! So many wonderful quilters here and lovely quilts, wallhangings, purses, table runners, doll quilts, just to name a few!! I just love the many styles of thought shown here and the endless possibilities.

P.S. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for this trying time for you.

Thanks to everyone for posting their lovely pieces of work for us all to see!

Sharon

I don't know how to have a slideshow either. I'm having a hard time understanding FaceBook and it seems overwhelming to me. I think a slide show would be a calming and beautiful time, if I only knew how to do it. Please, some one, PM me to tell me how to have the slide show.
Thanks.

Same here. Awesome idea (wish I knew HOW to do it). You are in my prayers for strength during your treatments and for a quick and successful recovery. God bless you.

skjquiltnut 05-13-2011 05:35 PM

Robin; you are in our prayers, we pray God for quick healing and recovery. Great idea to make the slide-show, there is just something so calming and soothing about a walk through a Quilt Guild's weekend Quilt Show...

OHSue 05-13-2011 05:59 PM

I like to print out pics of quilts I think I might be able to make someday. But I never thought of using them in a slide show, but I might now that you mention it.

ButtermilkMama 05-13-2011 06:02 PM

I"ll never live long enough to make all the beautiful quilt patterns that you wonderful ladies have shown us on this Board!!!!!!

Annaquilts 05-13-2011 06:05 PM

Kallen 05-13-2011 06:55 PM

I save pictures too, but don't really know what to do with them to have a slide show. I better ask my husband. LOL I really hope you will be feeling better soon and that your treatment will bring you good health. My thoughts and prayers are with you also. Bless your heart!

God bless you and help you make it through this period of treatments. I hope everything turns out well for you. Smart idea for the screen saver.

lue 05-13-2011 09:33 PM

Dear Crazy Quiltin Robin,

What a wonderful idea! If I were more technologically savvy, I'd do the same. Instead, I save my favorite ones as bookmarks, which I hope can contain an endless stream of quilts since I LOVE the ones I see here!

My prayers are with you for the success of the chemo and for your complete recovery. And so it is.

Judie 05-14-2011 04:14 AM

a great idea... thanks for sharing.

hope you feel well today and that this part of your life will pass quickly.

wraez 05-15-2011 11:12 AM

Slideshow on the computer? Great idea. I have photos gleaned from webshots website for my 'wall paper' that does a slideshow right now. Hmmm gonna have to consider adding quilt photos too.

I have for a couple of years now been saving pix from quilts found online and put into a 'to do' computer file

Ditter43 05-15-2011 11:14 AM

No I haven't, but it's an idea!! I am glad it is helping you get through a hard time. I hope you will have a full recovery!! :D

StitchinJoy 05-15-2011 11:16 AM
