that looks like Oleander to me, very poisonious

I believe it is a rhodedendrum ......I got one years ago at Home Depot and it has flurished under my brown thumb.

It looks like the tree I have in front of my house. Its been there for over 30 yrs, it only gets to the height of my lowest roof and has never gotten any taller. It is green all year but right now in the fall it gets these pretty pink flowers on it. So nice to have it when all else is turning brown

The trunk is too big for it to be a potted flower. A bigger pot won't hold the roots that will keep growing. If you transplant it I think you will be surprised that the pot is mostly roots.
