I hate mine, it is a good thing she has no pets, the stupid thing just lines up the hair, you have to vacuum in every direction possible to get it up. Good thing I did not pay for it, I would want my money back, can't wait until it breaks so I can get a new one.

I've had the yellow upright for years & it still works great. The only brand I'll ever own.

I have had one for a few years. It does a really good job picking up the dirt and dog hairs. The hose however is what I don't like. Very stiff and hard to use.

me!! I figured I should since my (married)last name is Dyson. It's GREAT :)

We have the purple one..the only think I don`t like is changing to the hose..but DH don`t mind so who am I too complain..he does most of the sweeping..it does do a good job..I bought a small sweeper for my sewing room and the stairs..DH got tired of cleaning out the threads..no pets in this house..

I have used the Dyson and love it. When Consumer Reports and Better Housekeeping rated vacuum cleaners. Dyson was not amongst the top three recommended brands. There is one called Eureka Pet Lover Plus that costs $139.96 at Sam's and it is as good if not better than a Dyson, plus it is one of the 3 best buys by Consumer Reports and Better Housekeeping. I have a dog that sheds and am amazed what a good job it did. Great value for less money.
