Your husband brings something in the house you didn't want in the house to begin with?
This is the latest thing my hubby let in the house that of course I have to take care of....

Awwwww. Nice kitty!

Magdalena 10-02-2010 05:52 PM

What a cute little kitten.

dvseals 10-02-2010 05:52 PM

I'm not a cat kinda person I prefer pooches (have 2 aka the boys )
and of course this new addition has decided that "I" am "HERS" she follows me everywhere when she's not sleeping or trying to get the pooches to play with her or she could be outside "hunting" bugs, her fave lately has been grasshoppers I keep finding her "leftovers" (maybe they're her trophies) all over the house.

Quiltforme 10-02-2010 05:59 PM

That is typical with cats they follow the one who doesn't like them and ingnor the one who does!! She is cute!

Ditter43 10-02-2010 06:20 PM

She is a beauty!! :D

bearisgray 10-02-2010 06:39 PM

Cat is a beauty. Have you fallen in love with it yet?

My DH still is not fond of the cat I adopted - over 15 years ago.

Dunno if you'd call it love on my part, but I'm the only one in the house she doesn't get irritated with.
She really doesn't like my daughter and she more or less tolerates hubby tho she is warming up to him a lil more since he gives her scritches when she sleeps between us.

Beffy_Boo 10-02-2010 08:48 PM

She's so cute!

Gramof6 10-02-2010 08:57 PM

Awww she is beautiful! It may be a good thing I am allergic to most cats or I would fill the house with them. :D

earthwalker 10-02-2010 09:15 PM

She's gorgeous...I couldn't imagine life without cats (I have two)...definitely in danger of becoming "crazy cat lady" if ever left to my own devices!

SueDor 10-03-2010 05:10 AM

I'd so love to have a kitty...but I'm allergic to them! :( Not so allergic that I can't be around them at all, but allergic enough that I get miserable after a day or two...

Princess PITA is beautiful!!

Emma S 10-04-2010 09:44 AM

I watched a special on cats and they have a very subtle way of communicating. Part of it is exactly what you describe: Not maintaining eye contact and ignoring to a point.

My mom does not like cats and complains that anywhere there is a cat, my mom is "the chosen one." I suggested that she shower the cat with attention, talk real loud and stare at it. Haven't heard any complaints recently.

That said: congrats to that adorable addition. It is easy to become a dog AND cat person.

Bonnie P 10-04-2010 07:42 PM

What a little beauty and how lucky to have a nice home.

rainbowquilt 10-04-2010 07:49 PM

Awww how adorable!

nonnie 10-04-2010 07:50 PM

What a sweetie.

fratcat 10-04-2010 08:16 PM

What a beautiful kitten. Perhaps she will become your velcro kitty, the one that follows you around and wants to help you around the house. I have 2 velcro cats in my house and the other 5 reside inside doing what cats do, each, sleep, eat, sleep, and play at night. Good luck with your beautiful kitten. She's very pretty. She'll love you unconditionally.

Dee 10-04-2010 08:40 PM

I'm not a real kitty person, but she is a darling. I just never had too much luck with cats. I'm more a doggie person.

auntiehenno 10-05-2010 07:45 AM

Love her! Many hugs a kisses to her!

chichimamma 10-05-2010 08:27 AM

She is a gorgeous calico, you are lucky, they're had to come by.

CarrieAnne 10-05-2010 08:53 AM

Shes so sweet! You will probaly BECOME a cat person real QUICK with her around!
