In this post some members describe nests they have seen. I have never seen one. I would love to see one.

Everyone is welcome to add your hummingbird photos to this post if you would like. I will enjoy seeing them.

Wow! I have a few, but not that many!

The hummingbirds don't usually arrive here in south Louisiana until the middle of August. Time for me to stock up on food for them.

I have three that come around everyday and especially when its raining and before a storm.

That's because they are all at her house! Same here. Neighbors told me they had hummers. I have yet to see any and I have food and flowers available to them. I might be missing them too

It has been an odd year here in Central Okla. for birds. We normally have lots of hummers. So far we have seen 2!!! I do not know what is up with that. We had 2 prs of Orioles early & now they have disappeared as well. Normally they stay until late Aug or early Sept. I just love the pics of your feeders! I dearly love to watch them flitting around.

I love hummingbirds they are so sweet. I have a friend whose husband feeds them on their back patio. There is one hummingbird that winters over - it doesn't get that cold in Oregon but it does get cold enough and we usually have one really good cold snap. One year this little bird was so cold that when Rocky went out to feed him he allowed Rocky to hold him while he ate. They have pictures it is so sweet.

The turk's cap flowers in my front flowerbed have just started blooming so I should be seeing hummingbirds soon.

We have a few but not as many as normal. I stopped wearing red because the humming birds would buzz me thinking I was food.
