I had to cut down my big ole yellow Maple and I miss those woodpeckers. I knew it was time because great big pieces of it kept falling. Even the squirrels are lonesome. I've never had so much light in my little house. I feed everything, even the groundhog. ~sigh~ wish someone would feed me. lol Miss my critters. Blessings, Ruth

Great photography! We have a couple of different woodpeckers are our suet, but not sure what they are. We need to purchase a bird book.

I love Northern Flicas...Have you seen the females? They look like big starlings with long pointy beaks.
