OMG - they had one when I was there. I was in the China shop out the North Gate. My first time there. My daughter yelled to me - run to a doorway. It was scary - all the china and plates and stuff were rattling. But it passed.
They lived in the towers to the left as you went in the gate off of "pole" street. One day the tower started swaying. Again she yelled to go to a doorway. WOW what an experience. It was no big deal to her kids. I survived (of course I did) but you never get used to it when you're a visitor. It is really scary. SO glad you're safe. |
Stay safe! Lived there for yrs as a kid so know what u meean. Still have family there. Lived on misowa. AFB.
|
Glad you are safe!

Prayers for your safety.

Sending prayers your way.
Against Nature's Powers, we do feel helpless. |
We are thinking of you & your family to remain safe.
From years ago, we remember California & the aftershocks. At the time, the earthquake was not comparable to your measured magnitudes. |
Sending prayers for your safety.
|
Will pray for the safety of both you and your family.
|
Stay safe.

Had two more this morning, one was a 6.6 at 6:30. Nothing like getting a wake up call by an earthquake. But again, we are okay, nothing broke. Hope it will quiet down now. |
Please be safe.
|
Hope you all are safe. Have you in my thought and prayers!
|
We are sending our prayers for your safety.
|
