About the only good thing I can say about it is that it would probably be warm!

And it isn't antique--note the serged edges-- that piece of equipment for home sewers is in area of 40 years and when they first came out they were not in everyone's sewing room like they are today. Just a thought.

I agree. People take too many liberties with the word 'antique'. I noticed the quilt was serged.

Just imagine though, one of us could buy it then have 100+ entries for the ugly fabric contest on QB!

Who knows.....some idiot might!

I just picked up some uphostery fabric sample books, free, and these "antique" pieces look a lot like the samples in my books.

This looks like a lot of samples of upholstery and other fabrics! Who would pay this price?

I agree. That is one ugly "quilt." And the price is outrageous! Did someone actually buy this? (love your monkey, too).

squeakie 02-12-2011 08:44 AM

wow if that is worth that much, mine must be worth at least...oh maybe...lets go low...1.2 million>> LOL

I don't know what i'm laughing at more the fabric prices or the monkey. The monkey is sooo very much cuter.

I am not sure that Goodwill would be happy with it. Did you notice that the edges were serged and rippled?

It doesn't look like he even got one bid on it. Maybe people are smarter than he gives them credit.
