I looked but the bidding stopped and there was no picture to see what it was. Also there were no takers either because it showed no bids

I can't even imagine having that thing in my home in this lifetime - even if it were free! IT is butt ugly! JMHO!

I dunno but I'm going to put a couple of REAL quilts on there if they pay these kind of prices!

cjaye44 02-13-2011 08:49 AM

Sure was a bidding war on it (sarcastic grin)

I see many similar items offered, some are in tatters, many seem to think all their geese are swans and CERTAINLY think that old is valuable!!!!!!

This looks like a lot of samples of upholstery and other fabrics! Who would pay this price?

SUPER UGLY!! Not even quilt material, more like an ugly couch cover or carpet. And of course it ended without a bid...

Here, however, is a really cool vintage quilt top from feedsacks that I'd love to buy!

actually...i think that this in future could be a valuable resource. fabrics of the past are always worth studying. i have picked up several collections of swatches from fab manufacturers at estate sales over the years...i think they are fascinating. haven't made a quilt of them ....but still love them
