But how do they get there without leaving footprints?

Does someone drop them out of a helicopter and pick them up when they are done?

exactly!!! I love it when men claim to have made them but they make paths in the crops to get to the area they flatten. most crop circles are pristine.

They had a special on NatGeo the other week on crop circles and it was really neat. But these things have been showing up even biblical times it just was not until the advent of the airplane that we were really able to tell what they were. Before they thought is was the devil dancing away in the fields now they found out that a lot of the circles mimic several sites on the planet like Stonehenge, and are more oblique than a true circle.

Either way I think they are really beautiful and whoever makes them are very talented! And your right a lot of them would make for a gorgeous quilt especially for those of us who are into the UFO and astronomy thing.
