Fall is in the air; do you do more quilting in the fall/winter/spring months?

I find that I do more in the fall/winter months than any other. Maybe its getting ready for Christmas presents.
This is what my grandmother and mother did in the fall as well; besides canning and freezing vegetables and fruits. My canning is done mostly August/September.

How about you ?

Yes, I find I do more quilting in the Fall and also knitting then Summer. It's too nice to be in the house even at my sewing machine when it is so nice and sunny out. In the Fall with the crispness in the air and cooler weather I am more likely to be in my studio and "working".

Fall is a long way off for us here is NE Texas, but I have got a lot done this summer. I have company coming in and out for the next 3 weeks so I will not be able to get in my shop and I miss it already.

I piece a lot of tops during the summer, but I do most of quilting in the cooler months and I really get a lot done during the winter months.

Strangely enough, I am more quilty ambitious in the summer.

I think in summer i'm too busy watering the lawn and mowing it afterwards! so me too, Fall and Winter.

I try I spend the spring and summer months outside as much as possible when the weather is nice. When the weather changes, I prefer to be in the house and time to quilt!

Absolutely! I'm just coming off a two month summer vacation/quilting hiatus. A couple of crisp days and I put together a couple table runners in fall colors.

I quilt no matter what the season.

I like to sew all the time but find it more difficult to find the time in July and August - that is weed spraying time and haying time.
