Here is my garden shed !!!

While we were at it, we added another dog pen, there are two doghouses built into the back of the garden shed. All my garden supplies are on one spot. And next year my greenhouse will go up early next year. We have a spot cleared out right near the shed.

pojo 08-22-2010 02:24 PM

I would say use it for a nice sewing room.
I wished I had that in my backyard I would sew in it.

Darlene 08-22-2010 02:25 PM

Very nice you lucky girl.

newquilter10 08-22-2010 02:31 PM

I would too.

Charlee 08-22-2010 02:32 PM

Really nice CH! I can just see the overhang with big pots of flowers in hanging baskets...

Your pups look happy! ;)

Chasing Hawk 08-22-2010 02:35 PM

Thanks everyone,

It took us about 5 weeks to get it done, and I took a few days off to sew some dresses for the munchkins in Oklahoma in the middle of it.

DebraK 08-22-2010 02:39 PM

awesome shed!

Ditter43 08-22-2010 03:09 PM

mollymct 08-22-2010 03:10 PM

That is very nice!! Too nice to call a "shed"!! Mine (a true shed!) is getting a little dilapidated...but hopefully will keep the mower dry another winter!

tweetee 08-22-2010 03:13 PM

This is gorgeous, as the others have stated, I would use this as a sewing room, its so lovely, too nice to be a garden shed!

boxerlady 08-22-2010 03:25 PM

Colbaltjars62 08-22-2010 04:06 PM

Very nice shed. Looks good with the pines in the backround around it. I hope you enjoy it and your Greenhouse next year. Cool..

luv-e 08-22-2010 04:10 PM

you guys are moving right along on this land.
I have to agree with the ladies, it would be a sewing rm. lol lol

Lisanne 08-22-2010 04:28 PM

That's a shed?? That's nice enough - and big enough - to be a guest house!

Shemjo 08-22-2010 04:31 PM

That "shed" looks pretty nice. Hope the rest of your plans go as well. The area looks perfect for you and the critters.

Minnesewta-sam 08-22-2010 04:50 PM

Nice area to hang your quilts for taking pictures. Looks like a nice sewing retreat to me.

CarrieAnne 08-22-2010 05:12 PM

Its really nice!

pab58 08-22-2010 06:04 PM

Now you just need a porch swing on the right side of it.

Matilda 08-22-2010 06:05 PM

that is really nice

littlehud 08-22-2010 06:47 PM

That is almost too pretty to be a shed.

We are almost done with the improvements around here. Next spring will be about reviving the poor lawn. The previous owners did nothing with the yard. The house was built in 2005 and when we moved in it still had the pallets in front of the doors or steps.
The grass was so matted it took me a year to thatch out all the dead stuff, so next spring we will aerate and reseed.

Oh, I am. I already have my first set of crops picked out. :)

Since it is just my husband and I we are going to grow....
1 tomato plant
1 bell pepper plant (red ones)
a zucchini plant
a yellow squash plant
and some bean plants along the dog pen fence.
And I may grow some herb plants too....I would be wonderful to grow everything I need for homemade spaghetti sauce except the wine and meats.........lol

Luckynumber7 08-23-2010 09:59 AM

Ooooh, gorgeous! I love it!

IBQUILTIN 08-23-2010 04:05 PM

Luv it

barnbum 08-23-2010 04:13 PM

It's gorgeous!!!

Annz 08-23-2010 05:35 PM

Wow!! Do you have a sewing room? If not one can be added on in the future.

earthwalker 08-23-2010 05:40 PM

That is the Taj-Mahal of sheds...goodness...I've lived in houses that didn't look as good. Charlee's right, some nice flower baskets and maybe some clay pots with herbs. I love renovating and gardening...but as my lush weeds attest, quilting is now consuming most of my time!

Yes I have a sewing room, and its soon to be renovated once again. My husband is adding a cabinet in my closet to accommodate my new embroidery machine and add more shelves for my ever growing stash.

it looks totally different than this now.
