Well here's an update. Flooring and furniture is going to be covered BUT it looks like it will be at least 3 weeks before we can get the flooring in. That means no quilting until after that since i don't want to set it all up to take it all back down. I guess that also means the garage and my room will remain jammed with everything from 3 rooms.
I am going to have serious withdrawl!

You have my complete sympathy. My husband just fixed a leaking pipe in our rental home. It's taken several years and several false leads (and unneccessary fixes) to find the source of the leak - hope he really found it this time.

I really do hate that this happened to you! But? Everything will sure be clean afterwards. Have to try to see a bright side however we can, whenever we can. I feel for you! Been there.

Oh my, I feel your pain. Something hung in the valve which kept the water from shutting off. That happened to us a few years ago. Luckily, I noticed it before the water had spread everywhere. It was an exhausting process vaccuming up water into the wee hours of the morning. Thank goodness I had a steam cleaner, and a wet/dry vac too.

So sorry this happened to you. Just breath and take it one step at a time, and you will make it to the finish line.

We are here for you, just vent and we will sympathize, offer ideas, whatever. Friends are the antidote to stress, as is quilting, etc.
