I had planned a quilt along to start by now. I have the quilt designed and in keeping with the spirit of this past summer's 9P project it was to be a stash buster. BUT, 3am Tuesday morning I awoke to find my DD had thrown in a load of laundry and gone out. The machine had a breakdown and never stopped filling! So...atm I have no flooring, furniture damage, 3 rooms dismantled, no sewing area and a lot of work ahead! Luckily my machines survived and most of my fabric and other quilting things but a lot of the other furniture is toast. :cry: Needless to say my little quilt along will have to wait. I am posting from my nookcolor that Santa brought me. At least I can still keep up with all you! |

You have all my sympathy, it ones happened with by bath water what a disaster, hope it's cleaned up by now. Happy ending all things cleaned up then.

Oh my goodness. The hardest part is the waiting...once it's all fixed and behind you life will be "normal" again. I'm sure your DD felt really bad, although it was nothing she was responsible for.

I'm really sorry this happened to you. I hope you get everything settled soon. When I can't sew, I try to do something else like reading or knitting. I need some sort of distraction from cleaning/cooking/homeschooling or I go a little nuts. Praying for you! Let us know how things work out!
