I found some at williams-sonoma that would be good for embroidery.
They are a bit more robust than my favorites that I get from Walmart. For dishes, I prefer the thinner ones as they dry quickly.

I saw some at Hobby Lobby...they looked nice to me! They are by the Aunt Martha display near the embroidery floss.

I got some thin ones from Target. How thick are the ones you all are using.
I'm afraid mine might be to thin. I was going to do hand emb and hand applique.
Opinions please.

I've been using ones from Wal-Mart for years. They are light weight, but I like that, easier to stuff them in glasses to dry them. I've only decorated that kind of towel once and I appliques shapes of them.
