When I get my baby quilt done, I'm making a little quilt for my friend's GD. We are coming up on the second anniversary of when her daughter died suddenly. I know this quilt will be loved and appreciated so that will make me feel better. Kind of get me out of my March Funk.

I am making new sheers to fit my dining room windows, just remodeled it. I never get tired or in a funk with quilt making. Sometimes I do have to do other things. I have a new sewing room and will never get tired of sewing in there.

When I get in a funk I just wait until the mood passes. Meanwhile I will still thumb through quilt magazines and/or knitting books until something hits me and I know that is what I really do want to work on..then I'm off!!!

Love this idea! Of course, maybe the M&Ms have swayed me! But when I get in a funk, I work on my easiest UFO or go through my stash and kits and figure out what I feel like doing. Go easy on yourself. It's been a tough winter.

I felt like that a few weeks ago so, I saw a pattern for a knitted body warmer, haven't knitted for years but have almost completed it, I am now so excited to soon be quilting again, already have a wholecloth marked out and ready to go as soon as that last stitch has been knitted!!!!!!!!

I am with you all the way. Just grab some scraps and make a crazy quilt pillow top. That will get the juices flowing

I just finished sandwiching and quilting a little charity quilt made from a panel. It's Clifford the Big Red Dog and because he's so cute it actually made me smile while quilting it! This was a pretty quick and easy project that's been languishing in my sewing room for quite a long time. It gave me a feeling of accomplishment. I'm now going to start ironing and cutting up my scrap collection, because doing this little project got my "mojo" back!

Me too...I have been working on this one quilt for months, I get frustrated and don't quilt at all. I must have it completely done and in the mail by the end of July. I always do this when I get stuck on my math skills on a quilt made not from a pattern. UGH!

Like the idea for the M&Ms at the sewing machine but need to add Reeses Pieces for the protein. Gotta keep your energy up fo the sewing.:D
